Ways to Build Your Resilience

Building your resilience requires consistency overtime with the following practices...
1) Consistent self-talk 🗣️
The one thing that probably weakens us the most and makes us believe in our own fragility is the negative internal dialogue we have going on in our minds.
Conquering your mind is most of the battle. If you just swap those critical thoughts to words of encouragement, you will almost immediately notice how much more equipped you are at handling challenges.
2) Stop complaining 🤫
Complaining doesn't teach you to endure, it actually programmes your mind to believe that discomfort should be avoided at all costs. It weakens your resolve.
It is equivalent to telling yourself that you don't have the ability to handle difficulty.
Instead of wasting energy complaining about life, encourage yourself, affirm your greatness and push through like the warrior you are 💪🏿
3) Daily discipline 🏋🏿♀️
Resilience is a muscle and muscles can only be built by exercising them.
Practising discipline incrementally on a daily basis, by way of new habits, gets you accustomed to managing discomfort in a healthy way.
The better your are at managing your emotions through discomfort, the better you'll be able to bounce back from greater challenges.
