We could all benefit from a balanced life, but in order to do, so we must be aware of factors stand to that threaten our ability to have one...

1) Perfectionism


Torturing yourself in an attempt to fulfil your unrealistic idea of perfection can keep you trapped in a state of imbalance.


This is because perfectionism is moreso about highlighting inevitable imperfections, rather than appreciating genuine efforts.


2) Fast-paced living


A balanced life requires mindfulness. When you don't take time to slow down, reflect and touch base with self, the fast tempo of your life will take over and prevent you from reaching equilibrium.


3) Misplaced values


When you value the wrong things, you'll arrange your life in a way that will result in you overdoing it certain areas and underdoing it in others.
