Things that Contaminate Your Perspective

Your perspective naturally grows and changes over time. As it does so, you must be careful of things that may contaminate it...
1) Self-absorption🪞
Being caught up in who you think you are rather than who you actually are and how things operate outside of yourself contaminated your perspective because it makes you overestimate your importance and the value of your contributions in relation to others.
It's important to know your value and where you stand, but also to understand that other people are also able to bring value.
2) Too many external opinions 👯♀️
When you're bombarded with the endless opinions of others, it can be very difficult to hear yourself and actually identify which opinions and thoughts are your own.
If you don't take time to evaluate your own mind, you will find yourself lost in the minds of other people.
3) Lack of self-reflection 😶🌫️
When you don't give yourself time to pause and reflect you often miss out on the chance to understand things in greater depth.
Your perspective should not be surface level. It should be built from deep thought, experience and critical thinking. Rushing through life robs you from this opportunity and you will inevitably end up with an inaccurate perspective based on what you see at face value.
