How to guide yourself out of an identity crisis

An identity crisis can feel like your entire world has been turned upside down, but in order to guide yourself out of it, you need to remember these 3 things...

1) Self-Compassion


Most people don't know who they are, so don't penalise yourself for it, because this realisation is the very first step to figuring out who you are.


2) Active Learning


Don't just think that because you're with yourself all the time you'll figure it out eventually, it requires your active participation and conscious evaluation.


3) Reframe your beliefs about yourself


An identity crisis means that the beliefs you have about yourself have been shattered. So you have to use your new understanding of reality as the foundation for forging a stronger identity that is closer to your true self.
