Authentic people have several crucial roles to play in this world that many don't know about. Here are a few:

1) Mirror

The energy of an authentic person is so powerful, that their mere presence can actually trigger people. Why? Because they'll are seeing a mirror reflection of what they need to improve and heal within themselves.

Of course, they will be resistant to change at first, but that moment of intense emotion is often the planted seed that will eventually grow into that person working on bettering themselves later down the line.

2) Role Model

Authentic people have are very attractive energetically, so there are a lot of people who secretly admire them. This means they have a greater responsibility to act with integrity and have good character, because you never who is watching and waiting to be inspired.

3) Transmuters of Negativity

As mentioned before authentic energy triggers a lot of people, which means that authentic people get targeted with negative energy all the time.

Authentic people have the unique ability to amplify energy with their thoughts and decisions, so they have a key responsibility to transmute negative energy into something positive.

This does NOT mean that authentic people are happy-go-lucky all the time. What it does mean is that rather than "fighting fire with fire", they are usually the ones to deescalate and turn a situation around so that it impacts the least number of individuals in a negative way instead of allowing the negativity to pass on to others.
