Balance is not easy to achieve, but authentic people consistently do the work required to sustain it and it certainly shows in different areas of their life...


1) Sound decision-making


Particularly when making important decisions, authentic people use a combination of logic, emotion AND intuition to take the best course of action for themselves and others.


At the same time, they allow life to flow and work with whatever may come.


2) Daily Discipline


Part of being balanced, is having a structure to rely on.


Being disciplined, by way of certain habits that delayed gratification, gives authentic people the capacity to handle life as it comes without losing their countenance.


3) Prioritisation


Authentic people can manage the distribution of their time and energy in each area of life. This keeps their lives balanced, regardless of any variables.


4) Acceptance


Authentic people accept who they are, who they were and who they will be and can integrate all versions of themselves.


By the same token, they practise being accepting of others and how life progresses in general.


This overall acceptance is really just a lack of resistance to what is; and the less you resist, the easier it is for you to remain in a balanced state.
