It's hard to walk in power when your habits are working against it. If you want to access your true power, here are a few habits you should stop ASAP...


❌ People pleasing


Crafting your life to primarily accommodate the wants of others gives your power away to other people.


It might seem like you're trying to be a "nice person" and "keep the peace" on the surface, but what's really happening is that you're avoiding the responsibility of fulfilling your own needs.


👉🏿 Understand and prioritise your needs first. THEN figure out where others can fit into your life. It is possible for you to care for the ones you love without abandoning yourself. And if they really love and care for you, they'll appreciate you looking out for yourself.


❌ Procrastinating


The life you want won't be given to you, you have to put the work in to manifest it.


Delaying and procrastinating are behaviours fueled by fear.


Fear makes you forget that power is yours to wield...not necessarily power over people, but power over yourself and how life unfolds for you.


👉🏿 If you know what you want, make a plan and get to work! Don't wait until the moment has passed. Don't wait to "feel ready". Prepare yourself and just do it!


❌ Ruminating


Wasting time constantly reflecting on what you COULD have, WOULD have or SHOULD have done places you in a position of powerlessness.


👉🏿 Accept reality for what it is and start problem-solving, developing solutions and creating the future you want and deserve.
