Priorities: People value different things, so their priority list won't be the same as yours, so you have to adjust your expectations of them.

Equality: How people view equality depends on their experiences.

Respect: Depending on the society and family in which a person was raised, they will show respect in a certain way, have similar expectations of others and perceive certain behaviours as disrespectful.

Success: Success is relative. It does not necessarily involve or fame. A person's definition of success will depend on their specific aspirations and the challenges they face in life.

Parenting: How children view their parents changes as they mature and grow into adults. As well as their family experiences and traumas, this has a massive influence on how they parent their own children and how they understand parenting in general.

Expectations: The expectations that people have of themselves and others varies. This can be evident in their behaviour towards others and how they allow others to hear them.

Comfort: No two comfort zones will look alike. What makes us comfortable depends on our personalities, experiences, upbringing etc.

Tradition: Everyone values certain traditions and have their own idea of how they should be honored and upheld.

Intentions : How a person's intentions are perceived by others versus what they actually are soft always align. Seeking clarity is often better than making assumptions in these cases.

Values: Everyone places a different level of value on themselves, their time and effort, there relationships, their possessions etc. It will always be evident in the boundaries they set, what they devote their time to and when they choose to exercise their resilience.

Effort: The amount of effort a person puts in may not be perceived by others in the same way that they perceive it themselves.
