1) Identity ≠ Reality

Identity is all about how you perceive yourself and how others perceive you.

People are imperfect, so perception will always be skewed to some degree. So what's more important is what is real and true.

Their openness to this inevitability allows them to move through life without being bound by the chains of previous identities.

3) Detachment

Authentic people have attached themselves to the journey itself and not the identity that's been created for them over time.

They can move through life without being trapped by beliefs and other ever-changi ng identity factors.
